Obimaika

Japanese inspiration accessories

Obimaika, a Japanese concept meaning “dancing elegantly with an Obi” was born in march 2011 after the first prototype of Obi belt modifying the pattern to make it a singular product in this category: curved and without visible seams.

In 2012, the design of my Obi bracelet have been created with the same making criterion (superimposition system) giving a high importance to the principle of comfort and elegance.

Then, a new proposal came: the “Mini Obi belt”, with a straighter cut than the Obi belt and that can be adjusted to be worn on the hips.

The pencil or make-up cases and the Origami bags have finally completed my collection of Japanese inspiration accessories.
