Obimaika

Japanese inspiration accessories

Obimaika, a Japanese concept meaning “dancing elegantly with an Obi” was born in march 2011 after the first prototype of Obi belt modifying the pattern to make it a singular product in this category: curved and without visible seams.

Later, the design of my Obi bracelet have been created with the same making criterion (superimposition system) giving a high importance to the principle of comfort and elegance.

Then, a new proposal came: the “Mini Obi belt”, with a straighter cut than the Obi belt and that can be adjusted to be worn on the hips.

The wallets, designed to keep banknotes and coins in the same object, easy to carry, the checkbook cases, pencils or make-up cases finally complete my collection of Japanese inspiration accessories.

Now, Obimaika’s creations are available in several shops of Japanese items, Japanese inspiration or travel around the world items.
